2. Define all the ways you can bring color into your kitchen. For example, you might be able to bring color with new tiles, countertops, cabinets or flooring. If you cannot go for big changes, you can still create a big shift with the color of various kitchen appliances, vibrant art, or small decor items that are appropriate in your kitchen. You can also employ specific feng shui shapes with your chosen color items to make the energy even stronger.

If you have an East facing kitchen, feng shui-wise this area is responsible for the energy of Health & Family. The element to support here is the Wood feng shui element. You can also bring the colors of the Water and Earth elements because they nourish the Wood. The energy to limit here is the Fire energy as Fire destroys the Wood in the cycle of five elements.
Main Colors: Brown and green
Additional Colors: Black, blue, sandy and beige
Colors To Limit: Red, orange, purple, strong yellow, gray
Appropriate Art: Images from nature (forest, rivers, seashore etc), happy family gathering, images of medicinal plants.

A Southeast facing kitchen is located in the Money and Abundance bagua area of your home, so be sure your kitchen expresses the energy of wealth! The colors and feng shui elements here are exactly the same as for an East facing kitchen as they share the same element - Wood. Limit the Fire energy colors, as Fire destroys the Wood in the destructive cycle of the 5 feng shui elements.

A South facing kitchen thrives on the energy of fire as this is its main element - the Fire feng shui element. This area is connected to the Fame and Reputation energy, feng shui-wise.
The only energy to limit here is the Water feng shui element energy, as Water puts down the Fire. Limiting a strong expression of the Earth element is also recommended.
